In October we reached a record for the number of call outs in a year, with two months still to go in 2021. A call out to assist the ambulance service at Middleton Bike Park was our 79th call out of the year, overtaking the previous record, which was set in 2018 and was the result of a very large number of call outs around the Beast from the East winter storms.

September saw 6 call  outs: four high risk missing person searches to assist West Yorkshire Police and 2 call outs from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

In October we had 5 call outs: 2 searches and 3 YAS assists.

October 23rd saw the team working with a number of other Mountain Rescue teams in a search for a missing walker. in the Nidderdale area of North Yorkshire
